4. Bookings, Payments & Cancellations

4.1 Booking & Retainers

• Session bookings are typically handled through HoneyBook or another approved booking system.

• A non-refundable retainer or booking fee may be required to reserve your date and time.

• Your session is not confirmed until the retainer is received and any required agreement is signed.

4.2 Payment Processing

• Payments are processed by third-party providers (e.g., HoneyBook’s payment partners, Stripe, PayPal, or similar).

• We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.

• Your use of payment services may be subject to the third-party provider’s terms and privacy policies.

4.3 Cancellations & Rescheduling

• Cancellation, rescheduling, and refund policies are detailed in your individual contract or invoice.

• Retainers are generally non-refundable, except as expressly provided in your specific agreement or as otherwise required by law.

• We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel a session due to illness, safety concerns, severe weather, or events beyond our control. In such cases, we will work with you in good faith to reschedule.

5. Intellectual Property & Image Rights

5.1 Website Content

All content on this website—including text, logos, graphics, layouts, and images—is owned by or licensed to Jerusha Schoenhoff Photography and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

7. Online Client Galleries

Client galleries are hosted through PicTime (or a similar third-party provider) and are:

• Private and password-protected

• Served via secure, encrypted connections (managed by the gallery provider)

By accessing a gallery, you agree that you will:

• Keep gallery passwords confidential.

• Not share gallery links or download passwords publicly without the client’s permission.

• Not attempt to bypass download or purchase restrictions.

Gallery access duration and download policies may vary and are typically described in your session agreement and/or gallery delivery email. We encourage clients to download and securely back up their images promptly after delivery.

8. User Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use this website or galleries for any unlawful purpose.

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site, server, or systems.

• Upload or transmit viruses, malicious code, or any harmful content.
